The Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at the University of South Carolina Aiken offers a variety of services and management training courses that are tailored to meet the needs of small and medium-sized businesses.
SBDC Consultants provide managerial assistance to those wishing to start or expand an enterprise and to businesses experiencing difficulties. SBDC Consultants are available to give one-on-one consultation, to analyze business operations, assist in developing business plans, and provide marketing information at no cost

The Procurement Technical Assistance Program (PTAP) is a marketing tool to help businesses sell to all areas (local, state, and federal) of government. PTAP services include counseling, government agency matching, contract development, and computer matching services.
